Upload VIROO Applications to VIROO Portal

Once you have built a VIROO Application, you will get a Unity application compressed in zip format, for more information you can check Build your VIROO Application page.

Note

Unity executable must be compressed in zip format to be uploaded to the VIROO Portal.

Upload from VIROO Studio

You can open the Application Uploader window going to Window -> Viroo -> Dashboard and then navigating to the Application Uploader tab.

Press the Browse button to select a zip file containing a built VIROO Application to upload. If the selected zip file contains a valid VIROO Application its information will be shown. If not, an error message will be shown.

If you are logged in the Account tab, you can click the Upload button. This will trigger the application upload process.

Upload manually

To upload the application manually, open a web browser and go to VIROO Portal. Use your credentials to access your organization's content. To upload content to the VIROO Portal, the user must have Content Manager or Administrator role.

Once you have logged in to your organization, you can access your organization's file management by clicking on the Files section in the top bar (with a folder icon).

Here you will find the VIROO folder, where your VIROO Applications are located.

To upload a VIROO Application to your organization perform the following steps.

1. Log in to VIROO Portal.
2. Click on Apps
3. Access the Files section and go to the Viroo -> [VIROO VERSION] folder.
4. Upload your VIROO Application .zip file here. You can upload your VIROO Application by clicking the + New button or by drag and dropping the file in the browser. If you have an older version you will have to overwrite it by selecting to keep the new files.

As the final step to test your VIROO Application, go to Playing VIROO Application.
